Election 2024: Notification issued for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting will be held on 102 seats in 21 states on April 19. After the release of the notification, the candidates contesting the elections of Mahasamar 2024 will be able to file their nominations. Lok Sabha elections are being conducted in seven phases in the country. In the first phase, voting will be held on April 19 for a total of 102 seats in 21 states. In this phase, voting will be held in a total of ten states. The last date to enroll for this phase is March 27.
The notification for the first phase of Lok Sabha elections being held in seven phases in the country was released on Wednesday. After the release of the notification, candidates will be able to enroll. In the first phase, voting will be held on April 19 for a total of 102 seats in 21 states. In this phase, voting will be held in a total of ten states. The last date to enroll for this phase is March 27. Whereas for Bihar this date is 28 March. The date for withdrawal of nominations is March 30, whereas in Bihar nominations can be withdrawn till April 2.
Voting in the first phase Puducherry (1) Mizoram (1) Meghalaya (2) Madhya Pradesh (6) Manipur (2) Maharashtra (5) Arunachal Pradesh (2) Assam (5) Bihar (4) Chhattisgarh (1) Jammu and Kashmir (1) Lakshadweep ( 1) Rajasthan (12) Sikkim (1) Tamil Nadu (39) Tripura (1) Uttarakhand (5) Uttar Pradesh (8) Bengal (3) Nagaland (1) Andaman Nicobar (1) Uttar Pradesh Saharanpur, Kairana, Muzaffarnagar, Bijnor, Nagina, Moradabad, Rampur and Pilibhit. In 2019, out of these eight seats, three were won by BJP, three by BSP and two by SP.
